  The man who screened my little sister, who was 7 at that time, a few yrs ago was an absolute dog. My little sister was afraid of the machine and he rudely told my mother that he had no time for us. He did not promote a safe and comfortable environment and continually told us to leave unless we got my little sis to behave. And blamed us. Are you kidding me though?! Any little kid would react that way to an unfamiliar machine. It does not take much thought for an grown educated man to understand a child's feelings in such a situation. This so called "professional" was self centred rather than what he should be, person centred. Horrible.

  Absolutely 5 star. I can't complain anything. I have been there 3 weeks, 2 weeks in wards 31, visited by doctors, nurses, caring staff, good food, well organised from Ultrasound, X-ray, STCA, clean bed, towels..everything, after my surgery, stayed 5 days in cardiac intensive care, they helped me to get through the pain, all nurses are working with heart. After 5 days removed me to ward 32..in this 2 days and sent home with 2 certificate for my husband and my self. It was completely well organised. Thanks for Monash heart, thanks for all doctors, for nurses, all staff..may God bless you and protect you..to continue the good work.

  Incredibily disappointed with Monash Heart - 7 weeks after initial appointment where a halter monitor was recommended, still hadn't heard back regarding an appointment to have this fitted. On enquiring, I was told it apparently it just "wasn't booked". No apology at all. Poor experience to say the least.

  Service was great till I needed a carers certificate. Ready to go for 5 hours but still no certificate. Seriously how hard is it to write out a certificate that takes 1 minute. They are short of beds and mine could have been free 4 and half hours ago. I know doctors are busy but the have assistance that could have done this.

  4.5 STARS. I have never heard of MonashHeart at this Hospital. I was under Casey Hospital for kidney stones, having been transferred from WGH with hydronephrosis, AFTER having been treated by a specialist, [a Mr]. I had 2 short IN-Stays for operations to crush and remove stones, followed by 6 visits to out-patient clinics to ensure all was o.k. I found their urologists were far superior in efficiency than the private urology specialist that my G.P. had previously referred me to. Much more economical too as I am an Aged Pensioner. You could not ask for better service that the nurses & food services etc. gave me in Ward A.
